Thank You to everyone who is supporting us with donations, in January we delivered 13 bags of rice.

For the month of MARCH we are asking for donations of

TINNED MEATS

Hotdogs, Meat balls, Cornbeef, Spam, Tinned Ham etc

Donations can be brought to church any Sunday morning or dropped off at the hall any Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday morning

]]> 2012-11-05T00:00:00-05:00 Our First Blog http://www.stmarysreddish.org/n/our_first_blog-0.html http://www.stmarysreddish.org/n/our_first_blog-0.html It has seemed to have taken us along time to get our first blog done, but here we are, for those of you who don't know who the Wardens are let us introduce ourselves Sue Bickley and Barbara Braddock, Sue is in her second year as warden and Barbara became warden in May this year. Since the departure of our priest we have been very busy in the parish office booking priests for all the Sunday services, Weddings and Baptisms and we are very pleased to say we have every service covered until the end of the year, this includes all the Christmas services and our All Souls Service in October, we have a small team who supports and works closely with us. We have also been fundraising for a new printer and a Christmas tree for the church, and we thank our regular team for all their help in each fundraising event and of course to the community for supporting us.

We are pleased to have now developed strong links with St Elisabeth's and St Agnes and we enjoy working with both churches, and we thank Angie and Clive for the support they have given us.

Today we have enjoyed a trip to the Christian Resources Exhibition at event city, we have picked us some useful tips and what seems to be alot of leaflets and pens!
